 1. allegory

noun. the expression by means of symbolic fictional figures and actions of truths or generalizations about human existence;also :  an instance (as in a story or painting) of such expression

ex. the long poem is an allegory of love and jealousy

2. the bewitched

        a cohering bunch (as of wool, cotton, or flax)

ex. They locked the door when they left and unlocked it when they returned.

     The car locks automatically when you start the engine.
